The Deputy Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Omane Boamah, has advised the NDC youth to desist from taking the law into their own hands or risk facing the law.Since the Mills government took office in January 2009, NDC youth across the country have demonstrated what some people say is a very high sense of indiscipline in their handling of issues.From seizing public toilets, locking party offices, pressuring government to sack certain officials, they now threaten with impunity to kill people they say have been unable to provide them with jobs.Recently, some of the youth in Accra besieged the party office, preventing national officers from entering their offices, with a call on the president to remove the chairman of the Confiscated Assets Committee.Their actions have drawn concerns from the public, including politicians from the political divide.Speaking on Metro TV’s Good Morning Ghana programme Tuesday, Mr Boamah cautioned that if the police gets hold of any of these youth, they would not get the support of anybody in government.He called on them to be calm and patient since the government is working towards its promise to provide them with jobs.By: Dorcas Efe Mensah/Myjoyonline.com/Ghana
