A 24-year-old bride who married the millionaire man of her dreams is said to be in shock after finding out her new hubby is actually her grandfather.
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, married the 68-year-old three months ago.
But she has made the discovery after flicking through family albums while at their home in Golden Beach, Miami.
She noticed a photo of her father, who her new husband had become estranged from following the breakdown of his former marriage.
The pair had no idea they were related when they first met on a website for older men looking for love.
The granddad told the Florida Sun Post: "They had a website with profiles of many attractive younger girls. I just felt something strange when I saw her photos.
"It was like a sense of deja vu, but at the time I couldn’t figure out why she seemed so familiar.
"We just hit it off right from when she walked into the restaurant."
The pair did not discuss family too much before tying the knot.
The bride said: "When I saw my father in that photo album, I just felt an overwhelming sense of despair."
The pair are sticking together however, despite the discovery.
