The Youth side of English Premiership side, Chelsea is due in Ghana next week for a five day visit.
The scheduled visit from May 29 -June 2 is being facilitated by Right to Play International, an International Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) who are also the Global Charity Partners for the 2007 FA Cup Champions.
Madam Vera Doku, Communications Co-ordinator of Right to Play, briefing the media on Wednesday, said the visit forms part of the partnership agreement between the two parties.
The NGO last January sealed a six-year partnership with Chelsea to become their first global charity partner to aid in raising over two million pounds for the organisation.
Madam Doku further explained that during the team’s stay in the country, technical men of the side will conduct coaching clinics in Accra and Tamale.
She said: “During the visit the team will witness specially designed games aimed at the holistic development of children as a tool for HIV/AIDS prevention.”
Madam Doku said that the team will include two players from the senior team.
Four players of the regular Chelsea set up - Michael Essien, Frank Lampard, Joe Cole and Salomon Kalou are presently Ambassadors of Right to Play.
