The Chief of Apam in the Central Region, Nana Adu Ephraim X has expressed concern about the missing of national flags used to decorate the road from Apam Junction to the town during the Jubilee of Ghana's independence anniversary celebration.
He has therefore urged anybody in possession of the flags to return them in their own interest because anyone caught would be dealt with drastically.
Nana Ephraim, who made said this at the parade of school children on Tuesday, directed school children in the town to report people found in possession of such flags to him or the police.
The chief expressed regret about the insanity situation in the town, especially around Apaa-pado, adding that some unscrupulous people had started defecating in the area instead of patronizing the places of convenience in the town.
School children, voluntary organisations and market women took part in the parade.
