Accra Brewery Limited (ABL), producers of Club Premium Lager, the number one selling beer in Ghana, has been declared the official beverage sponsor for the 5th edition of 4Syte Music Video Awards, which was launched on last week at the Silver Star Tower Upper Lounge.
4Syte Music Video Awards, organised by Accra-based 4Syte Studios, is an annual event fashioned to stimulate musicians and video directors to develop more creative efforts towards improving the quality of local music videos to meet world standards.
Since its inception four years ago, the 4Syte Music Video Awards has been embraced by all stakeholders in the music industry including music artistes and video directors locally and at the international level.
Mr. James Boakye Sarfo, Marketing Manager of ABL, who was at the launch indicated that “this year’s event will be refreshed by Club Premium Lager, the number 1 selling beer in the country and it is indeed a proud and happy moment for us at Accra Brewery Limited to be part of this great success story”.
He added that “Club Premium Lager is a truly Ghanaian Beer brewed from the finest barley malt, hops, maize and water to give it that fresh, crisp and unique taste, which has been enjoyed by Ghanaians since 1931. It is therefore a worthwhile move for the company to refresh and sponsor a truly Ghanaian initiative appreciated by all”.
4Stye Music Video Awards has since its inception rewarded the hard work of pioneers in the film and music industry, including Reggie Rockstone, Ivan Quashigah, Abraham Ohene Djan, Ramesh Jai, Kwaw Ansah and Allen Gyimah, with the Living Legend and Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Mr. Ignace Hego, CEO of 4Syte Studios, applauded ABL for being the official beverage sponsor and expressed his joy to have ABL on board. He stated that “the highlight of this year’s awards show is the inclusion of Most Influential Artiste of the Year Award to replace the Overall Best Video Awards category, with the nominees being Sarkodie, Edem, 4X4, E.L, R2BEES, Okyeame Kwame, and VIP”.
This year’s event dubbed the MTN/4stye Music Video Awards is slated for November 16, 2013 at the Accra International Conference Center and will see Dillish Matthews, winner of Big Brother Africa reality show and a number of her fellow housemates in attendance.
