A 50-year-old farmer has allegedly set his house ablaze, killing his 17-year-old daughter at Asuoso Fenaso in the Ashanti Region.
According to residents, the man was targeting his wife in the alleged arson for denying him sex.
Eyewitnesses say seven of the eight people who were in the room successfully escaped the fire, leaving the teenage girl trapped.
She was asleep and couldn't escape the fire, leading to her death.
The suspect was later lynched by the youth of the area after an alleged unsuccessful suicide attempt.
The bodies of the deceased persons have been deposited at the mortuary.
