Police in Dodowa are asking the public to assist them with information which will lead to the arrest of people who were involved in Tuesday night’s shooting that left one person dead and four others injured.
Rival factions in a land dispute at Dodowa on Tuesday night allegedly attacked each other while they were working on the land.
Dodowa district Police Commander, Superintendent Moses Alhassan Segu, told Joy News security has been beefed up in the area to avert further shootings.
He also mentioned that the Police is investigating the matter but it would be helpful if those who were shot at came forward with information that could lead to the arrest of the shooters.
Confirming reports on the injured, he said “one [person was] at Police Hospital, two at Dodowa Hospital and one treated and discharged”.
