Premier league side Ebusua Dwarfs want to appeal a Ghana Football Association ban of playing 12 matches at their home venue in Cape-Coast and an accumulated fine of 20,000 Ghana cedis.
The Disciplinary Committee descended heavily on the club after their fans beat up a referee and his two assistants for disallowing an equalizer in their match against Aduana Stars in which they lost 1-0 last month at the Robert Mensah.
This means Dwarfs will play their next four home matches at the Obuasi Len Clay where they have already played two matches.
Paul Adjetey Dzane who speaks for the club in an interview with JOY Sports stated the Ghana football Association’s punishment is harsh.
“We will appeal for the committee to look at the issue again and consider the verdict”. He said.
“The decision is too harsh and unprecedented”.
