Egypt will play against Uganda in a warm-up game ahead of the World Cup qualifier against Ghana, goalkeeping coach Zaki Abdul-Fattah said.
The fixture comes after Egypt had failed in their bid to host Sierra Leone in Cairo on September 28.
The Pharaohs will, however, have to play without 11 players from Ahli, who will travel to Garoua to meet Cameroon’s Cotonsport in the Champions League semi-final next week.
Egypt boss Bob Bradley had to call up four new players to his squad to replace the absent Ahli men.
This will be the third time for Egypt to play a friendly against Uganda since Bob Bradley had taken charge last year.
Egypt visit Ghana on October 15 before hosting the Black Stars in Cairo on November the 19th.
