Suspended National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Afoko, will address a news conference Wednesday on the controversial issues surrounding his removal.
This will be Mr. Afoko’s first ever formal public engagement since his many troubles with the NPP started.
Paul Afoko was suspended indefinitely after a unanimous decision by the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party on October 23, 2015 over allegations he was undermining party unity.
A recent appeal against the NEC decision also fell on the rocks after the NPP’s highest decision-making body, the National Council, upheld his indefinite suspension.
He is heading to court to challenge his suspension.
