The quiet town of Leklebi-Agbesia burst into life on 9th October 2025 when Ghanaian singer and rapper Feli Nuna headlined the Edzoleme Homecoming Concert, one of the main attractions of the Leklebi Agbonu To Festival.
The event drew thousands from across the Volta Region and beyond, turning the local community centre into a powerful celebration of music, culture and unity.
The night began with traditional Borborbor performances, setting a spirited and authentic Volta tone. Host MC Kelly kept the crowd energised throughout, turning the evening into a full-blown celebration.
Emerging acts Brokah Zeal and Smasher GMC, both products of the STTART Project, a creative development initiative led by Feli Nuna to support young talents, opened the concert with dynamic performances.
When Feli Nuna took the stage, her mix of rap and soulful melodies captivated the crowd, reminding them of the strength of their roots. She was later joined by rapper Wan-O, who delivered an electrifying set filled with passion and lyrical precision.
The night hit its climax when legendary Volta rapper Edem made a surprise appearance during Feli Nuna’s performance of “Edzoleme.” The crowd erupted in excitement and pride as the two shared the stage in a moment that felt both spiritual and historic.
As dawn broke over the Leklebi-Agbesia Valley, one thing was clear: Edzoleme was more than a concert; it was a statement of cultural pride, unity and artistic legacy.
Feli Nuna’s return to Leklebi marked a full-circle moment, inspiring a new generation of Volta creatives to embrace their heritage and tell their stories through music.
