Fire has destroyed the fourth floor of one of the SSNIT flats at Dansoman in Accra.Fire service personnel managed to douse the blaze late Monday evening, preventing it from spreading to the other floors.An eyewitness, Prosper Bonney told Joy News residents saw smoke coming out of the flat which is being occupied by some doctors.He said when they managed to get the fire service to the scene; almost everything on that floor had completely been burnt.Station Officer in charge of the Industrial Area, Evans Ofori, told Joy News that everything was under control.He said even though no injury has been reported, “personal belongings have been damaged”.He said his outfit is yet to access the cost of damage and the cause of the fire.
