Ghana League Club Association (GHALCA) chairman Kudjo Fianoo has revealed GHALCA G6 tournament has been postponed to November 13.
The competition scheduled to start on 5th November has been rescheduled to make way for clubs to prepare very well.
As according to the Chairman, various clubs have raised concerns over lack of preparation for the start of the tournament.
Fianoo also revealed that the competition has secured a title sponsor.
"Yes the date has been changed and it’s normal in every human endeavour. We understand them and so we have now changed the date to 13 November," Mr. Fianoo told
“We have also secured a headline sponsor for the competition and still searching for more sponsors,"
The teams that will participate in this year's edition of the G-six tournament are Wa All Stars, Hearts of Oak, Kotoko, Bechem United, Aduana Stars and Medeama SC.
Asante Kotoko won the last edition, beating Ashanti Gold 1-0 in the final.
