The Minister for Transport, Mrs. Dzifa Attivor, has with immediate effect dissolved the board of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL).
A statement issued by the Office of the President on Thursday said the decision was taken "on the authority of His Excellency President John Dramani Mahama".
"A list of names for the reconstituting of the Board and Management of the Company is currently before the Council of State as required by law and would be announced shortly," the statement said.
This development follows the brouhaha surrounding the dismissal of the company's Managing Director Mrs Doreen Owusu Fianko.
