The Ghana Army and their counterparts from the US Marine Corps will conduct a 10-day bilateral exercise in Daboya in the Northern Region and Akim Achiase in the Eastern Region from June 10-20.
A statement signed by Lieutenant Colonel Y. Dzotefe-Mensah for Director of Public Relations said the training exercise would involve troop movements of the two forces, live firing and a humanitarian and civil affairs package.
It said the exercise was aimed at enhancing the interoperability of Ghanaian troops and US marines in small unit operations and testing their combat readiness.
