Ghana failed to qualify for Euro Africa Zone Two of the Davis Cup after losing to Tunisia yesterday at the ongoing tournament in Morocco.
Henry Adjei Darko lost by two straight sets and Salifu Mohammed who put up a spirited fight eventually lost to his stronger Tunisian opponent 4-7, 5-7, 6-7.
The nation’s hopes in the doubles event Emmanuel Mensah and Owusu Menford were eliminated after two sets.
Ghana will now remain in Euro Africa Zone Three and play Benin later today for better ranking in the Group.
The team will return home on Sunday.
