Communications Minister, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, has restated government's commitment to make ICT infrastructure and tools available to all Ghanaians in the foreseeable future.
This, he said, is because government recognises the centrality of Information and Communication Technology to the development of the country and creation of jobs and expansion of the larger economy.
Dr. Omane Boamah was speaking in a pre-conference interview at this year's ITU Telecom World conference in Bangkok.
"Our commitment to universal access is unflinching and we are not wavering at all in that," he told Maximillian Jaconson-Gonzalez, host of the pre-conference interview at the ITU.
