Mr. John Abdulai Jinapor, Deputy Minister of Energy and Petroleum has assured of Government’s preparedness to partner with potential inventors who are willing to invest in Ghana, to his end he reiterated that investors stand a chance of higher returns on their investments should they consider venturing into Ghana.Mr. Jinapor who is leading a government delegation to this year’s Offshore Technology Conference in Houston, USA gave the assurance at various meetings and interactions’ with players in the oil industry at the conference.The Conference brings together energy professionals to create a comprehensive, peer-selected technical program and also showcases the latest products and services.OTC which is held annually in the United States is the largest oil and gas sector trade show, with more than 110 countries represented at recent conferences.The Ghanaian delegation used the conference as an opportunity to highlight Ghana’s potential as a safe secured investment destination and also held discussions with some leading companies in the oil sector notably amongst them were Barker Hughes, General Electric, CAMAG Group amongst others.Among the delegation are MP for Damongo and MP for Ayawaso East and some officials from the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum.
