Aduana Stars climbed to 13th on the league table after a hard fought 1-0 win at home against Bechem United.
Bechem, who were looking to build on their impressive win over Nations FC last time around, struggled all game to produce the spark in the offensive third.
Kelvin Obeng’s 29th minute goal was the difference at the end of the game, to ensure Aduana picked up all three points.
The win is only Aduana’s second in their last nine games.
Bechem will be rueing the poor performance and result, as they missed a huge chance to close the gap between themselves and league leaders Asante Kotoko.
