Hearts of Oak manager Kenichi Yatsuhashi has attributed his side's thrilling comeback victory over Inter Allies in the Match Day 5 down to emotion not tactics on Sunday.
The Phobians overturned a 2-0 deficit with goals from Isaac Mensah and new sensation Musah Ibrahim who scored a brace to make sure Hearts picks all three points.
After the match, the former Aspire Academy boss gave credit to his players for the impressive turnaround at the Tema Park.
"The comeback was performed emotionally, not tactically," Kenichi told Asempa Fm.
"This is football, one minute they say you're world beaters, the next you're a disaster. We kept our heads and we had this fantastic result.”
Inter Allies winger Evans Mensah terrorised the Hearts back line for much of the game, including a remarkable assist which saw him beat a number of Hearts defenders before finding Frederick Boateng alone in the box and slaughter home the first goal.
Gockel Ahortor added the second goal for Inter Allies but a stunning 23 minutes saw Hearts of Oak came from 2-0 down.
The victory keeps Kenichi's hopes of ending Hearts’s seven seasons of failing to lift the Ghana premier league trophy.
