Former Ghana coach Emmanuel Afranie says the Ghana Football Association will be getting it wrong to task yet-to-be-confirmed Black Stars coach Avram Grant to win the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations next January.
The former Chelsea manager is set to lead Ghana to the AFCON which kicks off in less than 50 days after reaching an agreement with the Ghana FA.
This means that the Israeli manager will have less than four weeks to work with his squad for the tournament.
Judging by this coach Afranie believes it will be unrealistic for the Ghana FA to task Grant to win the AFCON 2015
“Definitely it is not going to be possible because he doesn’t know much about our team, winning the Cup of Nations is not an easy task,” he told Joy sports
“You need to be determined and committed players and you need hardworking technical staff.
“You know Ghanaians every tournament we think we have to win, not that Avram Grant can’t do the work but with time yes but the period is short so we have to be sincere and don’t burden him.”
