Some babies born on Christmas day in the Ho Municipality have received assorted gifts and hampers from mobile telecommunications Network MTN on Boxing Day.
The assorted baby products were presented two nursing mothers in the Volta Regional Hospital and Ho municipal hospital as part of the company social responsibility.
The Regional lead of MTN, Mawuli Katahena, said the company would continue rewarding its customers with social interventions in health and education.

He added that the company will continue the gesture in supporting expectant and nursing mothers every year thereby putting a smile on their faces and making sure that they are well catered for.
Mr Katahena reiterated the company’s commitment to its customers across the country in regards to health, education and growth of the economy as well as great packages to be enjoyed
On the issue of blood donation, he said, MTN will continue with the blood donation program to stock the blood bank.
Receiving the gifts, Madam Makafui, one of the nursing mothers thanked MTN for their kind gesture and urged others to emulate them and help the poor in the society.

She said it was sad to see poor and needy mothers in various communities without any form of medical care due to poverty.
Makafui, however, pleaded with individuals and organizations to come to the aid of such mothers not only in the hospital but in less privileged communities and villages.
The Jonathan Quansah who received the hampers for the mothers at the Volta Regional Hospital thanked MTN for their kind gesture and asked them to do more.
The administrator at the Ho municipal hospital, Charles Torkonoo also commended MTN for the items.
