Inesfly Africa emerged as the Promising Manufacturing Company of the Year and Manufacturing Innovations Company of the Year during the 2017 Manufacturing Awards event held at Kempinksi Hotel.

The awards event organized by Xodus Communications, was heavily attended by giants in the manufacturing industry including Inesfly Africa and Interplast Limited, among others.

Inesfly Africa was nominated for eight award categories: Manufacturing Innovations, Manufacturing Company of the Year, Local Content, Promising Manufacturing Company of the Year, Excellence in Corporate Social Responsibility, Emerging Brand of the Year, Best Growing Manufacturing Company of the Year, and Paint Manufacturing Company of the Year.

The CEO of Inesfly Africa, Mr. Michael Sjodin, was also nominated for CEO of the Year.

Out of the eight, Inesfly Africa won the Manufacturing Innovations Award from a rather competitive category that included Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited, Accra Brewery Limited, Joy Industries, DT Engineering Systems and Blow Chem Industries. D.T Engineering Systems and Joy Industries were also nominated for Promising Manufacturing Category where Inesfly Africa emerged as the award winner.

Receiving the awards on behalf of Inesfly Africa were Chief Commercial Officer of Inesfly Africa, Mr. David Afugani, Corporate Sales Manager, Mrs. Sophia Atsu, Chief Technical Officer, Mr. Jose Gracena, and Communications Officer, Mr. Oswald Suonbai-kyi.

“We are very honored and humbled by this award, and for us, it is just a pat on the back to keep providing innovative solutions to the menace of insect-pests in our homes, schools, hospitals, hotels, and in the field of agriculture”, David Afugani said.

This brings to four awards the company has grabbed last year after it won the Manufacturing Company of the year (2016) and the most Innovative Brand of the year (2016).

“Our scope is big, and we know that insect-pests are a bane not only in Ghana, but in much of the African continent. As such, we are embarking on a vigorous expansion scheme to be present in all of Sub-Sahara Africa by the close of the year”, Mr. Michael Sjodin, CEO of Inesfly Africa added.
