The music industry is multifaceted with people playing different roles in the value chain. While some of these people are at the forefront and enjoy a lot of publicity in their line of duty, there are others who are hardly seen or noticed.
Some of these people do not usually take part in conversations regarding the industry. They hardly take the front seat at the table. An example, is Joseph Amoah-Mensah Victor (popularly known as Joe Amoah), a music producer, sound engineer and music director who has contributed immensely to the Ghanaian music industry.
You may not have seen him, read about him or heard about him before, but he may have formed part of your music experience in various ways. He has composed and produced songs for several artistes including Stella Aba Seal, Amy Newman, Joe Mettle, Celestine Donkor, Pastor Edwin Dadson, and Knii Lante.
Joe Amoah produced a number of Celestine Donkor’s songs such as Agbebolo, Menim Nguase, Final Say, Something New and Wo Ye Ma Me and co-wrote some of them.
He also wrote Gye Me Taata for Stella Aba Seal (Stella Dugan), composed Megya Ne Nyinaa, Enora, Ene Nso, and many other songs for Amy Newman.
Asked why he has decided to stay in the back over the years, he said "I'm a producer, songwriter, voice over artiste and concept developer. Our craft finds expression mainly behind the scenes so I am not worried about not being seen."
Also a Deacon in charge of music for International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) Restoration Temple, he is the director for mass choirs for Greater Works conference.
Married with three children, Joe is a graduate of Central University College, Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
He is also a Media Consultant and Creative Head with Springboard Media.

Springboard Media Consult is a media, advertising and promotional company registered under the Incorporation Act of Ghana represented by the 1963 Company's Code, ACT 179.
The company has built an extensive network that includes some of the biggest and multinational companies in Ghana such as Vodafone, Charterhouse, Star Assurance, Tullow, Izwe Loans, among others.
