Thousands of supporters have taken their seats already at the Kumasi Sports Stadium hours before Ghana’s crucial World Cup qualifier against Sudan.
As early as 8:00 am fanatic supporters clad in their national colours were busy buying tickets for the game and were seen taking their seats on a scorching sun with no activity on the field of play, expect mowers and other stadium staff who are preparing the place for the encounter.
The various supporters union have also arrived wearing different but colourful paraphernalia ready to cheer on the Black Stars to victory.
In the midst of cheerful supporters who are already dancing to some sumptuous brass band music, the security personnel are also gearing up for what will be a hectic job throughout the day.
Ghana is second and three points adrift of Group D leaders Zambia who has six points and the Black Stars must win this afternoon’s match to ensure that their third straight qualification to the World Cup is on track despite an away loss to Zambia.
The game will begin at 16 hours GMT. Lesotho will also play host to Zambia in the group's other game.
