The Juventus Academy has become a symbol of football excellence with young talents given the opportunity to develop themselves as humans before adding value to their profession. The intention is also to help the talents both on and off the pitch.

Speaking at the presser, Asamoah who represented Juventus during his playing career said, "Our mission is to bring the Juventus spirit to kids in Ghana. We want to instil not just football skills but also values that will guide them through life."

Aside the football pitch, other facilities at the SMAC Sports Center include; paddle tennis, basketball court, volleyball, skating area, restaurant, futsal, family area for parents and guardians to relax as their wards play.

Four classrooms that could house about 20 to 30 people already exist. Ownership is 50-50 between the two partners and the centre will cater to both girls and boys.

SMAC will play in Juventus' annual tournament that is held for the club's academies around the world while there will be an opportunity for coaches employed and a network of scouts to look for talents in Ghana and elsewhere.

The Juventus Academy is expected to be launched officially before the end of 2023.
