Black Stars coach, Kwesi Appiah, has shown support to Asante Kotoko as the team recovers from the tragic accident they encountered on July 12.
The national team coach was a former player and captain of the club in the early 90's and has wished the best for the club in these trying times.
"I wish to extend my profound sympathy to the Board, Management, Technical team, playing body, staff and followers of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, following Wednesday night’s unfortunate accident while the team was returning from Accra after a mid-week match.
I am devastated by this tragic incident and my thoughts and prayers are with the family of the departed.
May God heal your hearts and grant you the strength to go on.
I pray for a speedy recovery for the injured physically and emotionally.
I believe the team will come back stronger even as my prayers and thoughts remain with you."
