Lawyers for Justin Kone Katinan, a key ally of former Ivoirian President Laurent Gbagbo, currently in detention in Ghana, have secured a habeas corpus order demanding the BNI to produce the ex-Ivorian cabinet minister in court and to justify his arrest.He is currently in Bureau of National Investigations cells after his arrest over the weekend.Government has declined comments after putting out a brief information that President John Mahama was seeking advice from the Attorney General on a request for his extradition to face prosecution for war crimes committed during Ivory Coast’s recent post-election violence.His lawyer, Patrick Sogbodjor told Joy News he expects his client to be set free on Friday.He believes all the legal processes would have been filed then.
