Liverpool will face a tricky start to their Premier League title defence after the fixtures for the 2025/26 season were released on Wednesday, June 18.
The Reds won their 20th league title last season, beating Arsenal to the ultimate in Arne Slot's first season in charge.
However, the Dutchman's side will have to be at their best in their quest for another title as they have been handed a difficult start to next season.
The 2025/26 season, which will start on Friday, August 15, will see Liverpool face Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United in as part of their first ten fixtures of the campaign.
The seven other games include Bournemouth, Newcastle United, Burnley, Everton, Crystal Palace, Brentford and Aston Villa.
The Reds will welcome Arsenal to Anfield on August 30th, travel to London to face Chelsea on October 4th at the Stamford Bridge, and host Manchester United at Anfield on October 18th.
These matches will be crucial for Slot to stage a good title defence and give new signings Jeremie Frimpong and, potentially, Florian Writz a chance to shine.
After a dominant display in the previous season, where they lifted the Premier League title, Liverpool will be looking to continue their winning ways.
Mohamed Salah's incredible form last season earned him the Premier League Golden Boot award and the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year award. Salah's contract renewal last season, alongside Virgil van Dijk, who also renewed his contract, has shown the club's commitment to retaining top talent.
Both players made the EPL Team of the Season a testament to their exceptional performances.
