The local Black Stars of Ghana are likely to miss out on the inaugural President Obama Cup football tournament in the United States.
This is because the team has yet to be given visas by the US Embassy in Ghana.
The local Black Stars were among three countries selected to participate in the tournament alongside Nigeria and Kenya.
The team must hope their visas are issued by close of day Tuesday or forget participation.
George Afriyie, team manager for the local Black Stars told Joy Sports it will be a blow if Ghana fails to compete at the tournament.
