Ghana’s home-based national team have been invited for a summer tournament in Sao Paulo, Brazil next month, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.
The local Black Stars will compete with four other teams in the two-day tournament at the Cicero Pompeu de Toledo Stadium.
The matches will be played on January 12 and 13, 2013.
But the team will stay in Sao Paulo for ten (10) extra days and will play three friendly matches with yet-to-be named opponents.
The tournament organized by Sao Paulo-based Sports Life and Hope will help the team prepare adequately for next June’s African Nations Championships qualifier with Benin.
The team’s technical handlers have trained with more than 40 players selected from the Ghana Premier League this term.
