Luv FM's Randolph Martin Acquah popularly known as Kofi De-Aqua has been awarded at the Kofi Annan Blueprint celebration of excellence at a summit held at the University of Ghana in Legon, in Accra.
The Drivetime co-host was among 30 individuals across the country who were honoured in areas of Media, Education, Health and Sanitation among others with a medallion.
Efforts towards the attainment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was the main criteria for selection.
Kofi De-Aqua was awarded for his long service in the media as an agent of change.
The former Adom and Nhyira FMs Drivetime host was praised for using his voice and personality to bring development through games and social activities.
The Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah and Kofi De-Aqua are to work together for UN and Ghana in the next five years as Ambassadors to achieve SDG 2030.
They have also been tasked to organise the community global football gala in the Ashanti region as well as coordinate the tournament in the other regions across the nation.
Coordinator, Ambassador Dr Kwame Fordjour says the summit calls on leadership, municipal and district chief executives to participate and benefit from the conference initiatives.
“This is geared towards achieving the sustainable developmental Goals in communities to transform Africa’s economy and leaderships for replicable practices,” he said.
The global legacy summit is in honour of the late UN Secretary General, Kofi Annan.
