A young man in his late twenties is reported to have attempted suicide Monday afternoon.
He was seen cutting his throat with a knife in the middle of the road near JB Plaza in Oyarifa near Pantang, prompting onlookers to shout for help, a source at the Adentan Police station confirmed to Myjoyonline.com.
A police van which was passing-by had to be stopped by the onlookers to carry the dying man to hospital.
The man who is yet to be identified was taken to the Adentan police station before he was rushed to the Police Hospital.
The neighbours claimed the man is a total stranger in the neighborhood.
His name and identity are yet to be ascertained.
