Multi TV, a subsidiary of the Multimedia Group has ended a successful two-day marketing and promotional tour to the Northern Region.The outreach also allowed an interaction with the station’s audience in the Region as well as introducing them to the station’s programs.The tour was climaxed on Saturday with the screening of the live UEFA Champions’ league final match between English side, Chelsea and German giant, Bayern Munich at the Tamale Chief’s Palace.Hundreds of enthusiastic soccer fans trooped to the Chief’s Palace to watch the final game on a giant screen provided by Syndicated Capital and Torch House Productions, event organizers in Tamale.A musical concert featuring artistes Sherifatu Gunu, FBS and others brought life to the Tamale Township.Principal streets were chocked with traffic as ecstatic supporters of Chelsea took to the streets in wild jubilation with their cars and motorbikes draped in the blue colours.Earlier on Friday, the Multi TV team organized a Quran recitation competition for Arabic students in the region.Events Manager of Multi TV, Dodzi Anador, launched a service centre to attend to the needs of numerous Multi TV subscribers in the region.The service centre will organize clinics periodically for persons who deal in Multi TV’s digi box and services in the region.The team also presented a Multi TV digi box to the Dakpema Naa, Mohammed Alhassan Dawuni at his palace.Receiving the item, Naa Mohammed Alhassan Dawuni expressed his appreciation to the management of Multi TV for the kind gesture and appealed to the station’s management to introduce programs in the Dagbani language to enable them reach out to and educate the thousands of audiences they have in the region.
