It was a real missed opportunity for the Citzens who had hoped to crank up the pressure on the frontrunners ahead of their match with Rafael Benitez's Newcastle United on Monday night.

Instead, the Foxes can extend their lead to 12 points over City with a victory against the Magpies, which would surely be too much ground for them to make up with nine games to play.
