A group of student activists of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Students Network for Nana Addo (STUNNAD), has announced its resolve to get the two-time defeated presidential candidate of the party, Nana Akufo-Addo elected as Ghana’s president in 2016.
The group in a statement signed by its National President Chris Arthur believes Nana Akufo-Addo is the right person to save Ghanaians from economic doldrums and hardship.
“Nana Addo has proven to every Ghanaian to be a patriotic citizen, who has the interest of the nation at heart. Nana Addo is a peace-loving and visionary leader, who any well-meaning Ghanaian will throw his or her weight behind him to unseat this clueless government.”

The aim of this students’ movement is to ensure that Nana Akufo-Addo becomes Ghana’s next president in 2016 by removing the ruling NDC government under the incompetent leadership of President John Dramani Mahama.
Nana Addo has proved to every Ghanaian to be a patriotic citizen, who has the interest of the nation at heart. Nana Addo is a peace-loving and visionary leader, who any well-meaning Ghanaian will throw his or her weight behind him to unseat this clueless government.
Mahama’s NDC government only knows how to “create loot and share”, high taxes, high utility cost, bribery and corruption, high cost of living, high unemployment rate, tribalism and nepotism, etc. Ghana today is ranked third highest corrupt country in the whole world. In Ghana today, corruption thrives with impunity, government officials are liabilities rather than being assets to economic growth and never held accountable for their deeds. Extensive looting of public funds by government officers in Ghana has dangerously undermined the country’s public health sector and all other sectors as well.
We will not sit down and see another four years of chop chop, lies, insults, propaganda and corruption again under this weak character and “unprecedented leader”, President John Dramani Mahama. We are alerting Ghanaians on a gradually collapsing country, unless we rise on them. The government of Ghana may not be able to pay its bills, including workers’ salaries within the next few years and we cannot sit down and watch this “THINGs FALL APART GOVERNMENT”so to say, to lead Ghana to doom.
We need NANA ADDO as a matter of urgency to come and rescue the nation from the hand of these “devils and vipers”, who are sucking Ghana’s blood like beasts. We are giving this urgent call to NANA ADDO to come and continue his fight against poverty and hardship, corruption and insecurity. NANA ADDO and the NPP are the only hope and trust for the people of Ghana. Parents and students are crying for Nana’s FREE SHS policy, free health policy for persons under 18 years, rule of law, etc.
Very soon, STUNNAD will be launched and rollout its nationwide campaign for NANA AKUFFO-ADDO.
Dr. Kofi Konadu Apreku and all others must rather support the DEMAND of the masses for Nana Addo. They should not even try to contest Nana Addo else, they will disgrace themselves again.
STUNNAD! NANA ADDO MUST COME.
SIGNED…
CHRIS ARTHUR,
NATIONAL PRESIDENT
