Ghanaian forward Osman Bukari was on target for Austin FC as they beat Houston Dynamo to advance to the next round of the US Open Cup.
Bukari scored what was only his second goal of the campaign in the 3-1 win on Wednesday night to book a place in the quarterfinals for his side.
Brandon Vazquez opened the scoring for Austin in the 29th minute, giving them the needed breather as they headed into the halftime break with an advantage.
After the break, Austin won a penalty after the ball had come off the hand of Franco Escobar. Bukari stepped up to take the resulting penalty and converted into the bottom left corner to double the lead.
Bukari then turned provider minutes later as he set up Ilie Sanchez for his side's third goal of the game.
The visitors grabbed a goal in the 70th minute, but it was only a consolation as Austin picked up a 3-1 victory.
His involvement in the game means Bukari has two goal contributions in the US Open Cup this season.
