Defender John Paintsil has laughed off suggestions of disunity in the Black Stars camp during the just ended 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.Ghana's failure to win the Cup has been followed by reports of disharmony in the team and that has been used by sections of the media as the basis for their fourth-place finish.Paintsil waved away claims of disharmony, insisting that the players have always been fully committed to playing for Ghana and winning.“Whether lose or draw, we still have to keep our heads up and also talk to ourselves that there are more games ahead,” Paintsil told ghanafa.org.“We love ourselves and because of our togetherness, everywhere we go, we succeed. We will keep that going until we get the goal.”However, Paintsil was adamant that the Black Stars can find it a challenge again at the 2013 Nations Cup finals in South Africa.“We all came here [2012 finals] to win the gold but it is unfortunate that we couldn’t make it to the final. It was hard time or a difficult moment to get ourselves together to play the third-fourth place because that was a huge disappointment for all of us.“Well, we still have more time to go and there is one more Nations Cup coming up in the next 10 months. We have to put our acts together and also learn from our mistakes and make sure that we will do the right thing.”
