The Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacology, Prof Alex Dodoo is expected to make a return to Parliament on Thursday when the plenary finally takes a decision on a contemptuous remarks he made on TV.
He is expected to reappear with a lawyer of his choice, a letter from the Parliamentary Service said.
Prof Dodoo in commenting on a recent controversy about an Ebola Vaccine Trial in Ghana was reported to have told MPs to "shut up" if they have no information on the trial to be undertaken in the Volta Region.
The MPs considered his comments insulting and hauled him before the Privileges Committee of Parliament where he was grilled by the MPs.
The Prof and his lawyer Yonny Kulendi had their hands in their palms begging the MPs to be forgiven for an inappropriate comment made.
The Committee has since concluded its report and has sent it to the main House for consideration.
Prof Dodoo will know his fate on Thursday.
