The Dome Market in Accra is in ruins after a devastating fire, Wednesday evening.
Market stalls, shops and other structures have been consumed by the inferno that is believed to have started a few minutes past 7 pm.
Personnel from the Ghana Fire Service have made progress with dousing the fire, but properties worth millions of Ghana cedis have been destroyed.
Greater Accra Regional Commander of the Fire Service, DCFO Ebenezer Simpson, has touted the swift response of his men for the success in fighting the fire that was fast spreading to adjoining installations
