In recent times, the Ghana Police Service has received several complaints regarding domestic violence.
Although the majority of reports on economic and emotional abuse are towards women, a smaller percentage of men are victims.
Today on The Law, host, Samson Lardy Anyenini and his guests, Former Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Catherine Abelema Afeku, Ark Foundation Executive Director, Dr Angela Dwamena-Aboagye and Director at Legal Assistance Network, Irene Aborchie-Nyahe looked into the laws of the country and the appropriate sanctions supposed to be meted out to culprits.
