Police have arrested 32 squatters said to be settling on lands belonging to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
The arrest is part of efforts to boost security in the area.
It follows the mysterious death of a Junior Doctor, Desmond Kabbah, at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.
The 27-year-old was found dead in his room with multiple stab wounds and part of his flesh peeled off.
The incident has created fear and panic with the junior doctors declaring a sit down strike until security has been improved in the area.
Multi TV’s Solomon Joojo Cobbina reported, Thursday that police have swooped squatters living on the Korle-Bu lands.
The suspects have been sent to the Greater Regional Police Headquarters and have been provisionally charged with unlawful entry.
