The Police have identified the bodies of four members of Nigerian Prophet T.B Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on the Spintex road who died in a stampede during last Sunday’s service.
The tragic incident occurred after a stampede ensued at the church, Sunday, when reports emerged there will be free distribution of ‘holy water’. Thirty others were injured in the mayhem.
Accra Police Public Relations Officer DSP Freeman Tettey told Joy News family members should contact the Airport Police to claim the bodies of their relatives.
“This is a special appeal to the families and the general public”, DSP Freeman Tettey said.
