The Police administration has confirmed that they are very close to arresting the rest of the fugitives involved in the infamous Kwabenya jailbreak last Sunday.
This follows the revelation that key suspect in the attack identified as Kofi Seshi who is said to have shot and killed the officer on duty during the attack, has been arrested.
The officer, Inspector Emmanuel Ashilevi, was on monitoring assignment during the attack on January 21.

Director-General of Public Affairs at the Ghana Police Service, ACP, David Eklu told Joy News Saturday that Kofi Seshi was part of 3 others arrested at Kasoa in the Central Region for allegedly trading in illegal weapons.
The other three suspects picked up are named as Mawuli Adokokye, 28, Obed Wood, 37 and Jeffrey Tetteh, 38, who are currently in the custody of the Kasoa Police, awaiting prosecution.
ACP, David Eklu says information flowing from the public is helping the police to gather intelligence leading to the arrests thus far.
“We are analyzing information flowing from the public and we are very sure that we are very close to arresting the rest of the suspects who are on the run,” he said

Inspector General of Police, David Asante Apeatu who initially briefed the press Thursday, of arrests made also revealed that more suspects have been picked up in connection with the shooting and killing of a police officer at Lapaz in the Greater-Accra Region.
