A pregnant woman was clubbed to death at the Sokoban Wood Village in Kumasi by an assailant who was later lynched.
Sarah Ofori said to be a chop bar attendant was murdered in the early hours of Monday.
It is not clear the reasons for the murder but Luv FM's Erastus Asare Donkor reported that the assailant who is believed to be a stranger, was pursued and arrested by a mob.
The mob brought him to the exact location where he allegedly killed the pregnant woman and lynched him.
The police have taken the two bodies to the morgue and have begun investigations.
