The Ghana Prisons Service has received cash and assorted food and other items worth GH ¢210,000 from the National Food Buffer Stock Company (NAFCO) at a brief ceremony in Accra.
The items are for the upkeep of inmates of the Senior Correctional Center, formerly the Bostal Institute for Juveniles located at Roman Ridge in Accra.

The charity donation is an annual initiative by staff of NAFCO towards the needy as part of the company’s corporate social responsibilities.
