Former Spokesperson of the Ghana FA, Randy Abbey has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Ghana Premier League side Kpando Heart of Lions,
The experienced football administrator and executive member of the GFA was officially introduced to the technical team and playing body on Thursday.
The ambitious former Accra Academy graduate has been tasked with the responsibility of running the day-to-day administration of the club.
“I can confirm to you that Mr. Randy Abbey has been appointed as the Managing Director of Heart of Lions,” PRO Collins Odoom said.
“Mr. Abbey brings massive wealth of experience to the job and has been tasked to run the day-to-day administration of the club.
“Club owner Victor Ahiakpor will work behind the scenes to support him to ensure we attain our goals.”
Abbey who is the head of Ghana’s referees’ appointment committee is expected to add his rich expertise to enhance the image of the club.
Lions have been impressive so far in the league as they lie in the top-four.
They will play Hearts of Oak in the top-of-the bill clash at home on Sunday.
