A school proprietor, Ephraim Laryea Thebault, has been put before an Accra Circuit Court for sodomising a 15-year-old boy.Charged with defilement of a child under 16 years, Thebault pleaded not guilty and the court presided over by Mrs Patience Tetteh-Mills remanded him into police custody to reappear on August 2.The prosecutor, Chief Inspector Charles Chester, told the court that on February 20, 2009, the victim and his mother were ejected from their house and the accused, who was also a teacher of the boy, voluntarily offered them a place to sleep.The prosecutor said the accused on February 20, 2009 had anal sex with him and also on subsequent nights. The accused warned the victim not to inform anyone about it else he would die.Following the threats, the victim kept the ordeal to himself.However, on June 29 this year, the boy let the cat out of the bag when he lodged a complaint with the Police at La.Source: GNA/Ghana
