The six suspected armed robbers who were arrested by the Mampong Divisional Police on May 25 would be arraigned before the Nsuta Circuit Court on June 16.
The six are Muhammed Yusif, 27, Rasak Akilu, 22, Wallidu Biliamidu, 27, Abdul Kadiri Adam, 25, Nounzel Alhasan, 19 and Alim Yaao Dauda, 18.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Ali Aning, Mampong Divisional Crime Officer, told Ghana News Agency in an interview that the six robbers attacked homes at Ejura on the night of May 25 and in the cause of the robbery shot and injured three of their victims.
Mr Yaw Asante, 45, Mrs Njokone, 35 and one Robert, are receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital
Mr Aning said items found with the robbers included two unregistered motor bikes, two live ammunitions, two locally-manufactured pistols, voodoo made up of a bull horn attached with feathers, empty snail shell, talismans, lavenders and a jaw of an unidentified animal with Arabic inscriptions.
