The Muslim faithful of Ghana after a month of prayer and fasting have contributed immensely to the peace and tranquility of our land. We therefore thank them for their effort especially in these hard times. We also pray that Almighty Allah will reward them for their devotion, dedication and duty they have rendered through their sacrifice.
The unique understanding between Muslims and other faiths in our nation is exemplary and shines like a candle in our region and the world. It is our prayer that all of us will continue to work together to strengthen and protect this harmonious understanding which speaks volumes for our nation, our culture and our respective religious faiths.
Ghana can be justifiably proud of its Muslims who through practice of their faith have given an exemplary meaning to Islam as a religion of peace in a troubled region. If we have peace, we have every reason to be hopeful that in spite of any difficulty, we shall prevail! InshAllah!
We all need to support the peace Alarh has blessed our nation with after this celebration and pray for togetherness and the development of mother Ghana.
We pray for a prosperous future of our youth, may they find fulfillment. We pray for long life of our Muslim religious leaders and our traditional leaders.
Eid Mubarak
